We are pleased to announce the appointment of Piero Romani as the new President of Securitas Canada. Piero joined Securitas in 2018 as the Area Vice President for the Greater Toronto and Southern Ontario area. Under his leadership, the region saw significant growth and outstanding operational performance, including the Operations Center and several national clients.
Before his tenure at Securitas, Piero was the Vice President of Stanley Security Canada, where he managed the electronic security and access technology businesses. He also served as Chief Technology Officer and Vice President at a major national competitor, overseeing branch operations, security technology services, national control center operations, and internal IT systems.
Piero’s extensive experience and deep industry knowledge make him an excellent fit for this leadership role. His commitment to client satisfaction and long-term strategic vision drives innovation, fosters growth, and ensures lasting success.
Following a successful transition period, Richard Marinos, President of Securitas Canada, has stepped down effective September 1st, 2024. We extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Richard for his 10 years of dedicated service and wish him well in his retirement.
