National Charitable Partnerships

The mission of Make-A-Wish^® Canada is our employee supported charity that grants wishes for children with life-threatening conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. A wish is a powerful experience, improving a child's state of mind, replacing fear with happiness, and helping them to feel like a normal kid again. Make-A-Wish Canada has granted nearly 6,000 wishes since 1983.

Securitas Canada and employees have partnered with Make-A-Wish to make magical wishes come true across the nation through payroll deductions and special fundraising activities. Securitas Canada matches employee contributions. As our partnership grows, we will grant as many wishes as we can through this worthwhile charity.

Securitas has a comprehensive Indigenous Engagement Program that is designed to build capacity within Indigenous communities throughout Canada.

We identify local First Nations and Indigenous businesses as Alliance Partners in order to maximize local employment and ensure the greatest possible positive impact for local residents. Securitas is also a proud Partner Company with the Native Women's Association of Canada.  Successful, female applicants from Indigenous communities may be eligible for additional "job start" support through the Native Women's Association of Canada.
